some ppl dont try hard at what they do because they believe it wont matter in the end.
for example, some ppl dont care about getting A's in school because in the end, their diploma will be the same as everyone else's... their diploma wont list their grade..
but why does it matter...
why are ppl ok with not doing your best.. just because no one sees it? God sees all. but even ignoring that, the satisfaction of doing your best is better than the feeling of slacking and not giving it your all.. you're being unfair to yourself.. be accountable to yourself. if you cant do that, then what can you do.
i want to be able to look in the mirror every morning and say, i did my best. even though the feeling of failure sucks, i know i wont have the feeling of regret later on.. playing 'what ifs' in my mind over and over again
and that is why it haunts me the most. i did not do my best. was it subconciously on purpose? i dont know.
